A picturesque town about 30 minutes north of Boston on Cape Ann, Rockport is a great day-trip.

A bright red skiff. Rockport has an active fishing fleet and these skiffs are transport out to the fishing boats.

Closed in 1929, Rockport Granite left this quarry behind. It's located in a state park adjacent to the beach.
Woodmans in Essex claims to have  invented fried clams. This queue is at least 200 people willing to wait as long as it takes to get fried seafood.
