Farm animals and some more exotic

Off of the Kaikoura peninsula lives one of the world's
largest dusky dolphin communities. |

Almost any time of year one can hire a boat to see 600
upward to 1500 wild dolphins in their natural habitat. |

On the North Island in Rotorua there is a tourist
attraction called Agrodome. Its main feature is a sheep show during which
you get an explanation of NZ's primary 19 breeds and sheering demonstration.
The fellas behind me here are not stuffed. |

NZ's South Island has a several types of exotic birds:
kiwi, little blue penguins, yellow-eyed penguins, the giant albatross.
Unfortunately, most of them are nocturnal or endangered and therefore
difficult to capture on film. Here is a yellow-eyed penguin we spotted late
on day in Dunedin. |
