An antique gas pump in southern Vermont. |
Pretty little lake on the side of route 133. |
I don't recall where I saw this river but, it was south of
Rutland. |
You may think these guys are crazy quarry jumping. But it's
a pretty well explored swimming hole. The weather was unusually warm yet, I
could hear from their screams that the water was pretty cold. Geronimo! |
There he goes, into the drink. |
Vermont is dotted with covered bridges, some operational,
some decrepit. This one fell into the later category. |
New Jersey is the second or third largest cranberry
producing states. So I ventured down to the Pine Barrens to visit the one of
the largest farms--and the only one with tours--in harvest season. |
Having booked my tour tickets a couple of weeks in advance,
I have to say I was disappointed. They wouldn't let us off the bus to take
pictures! Insurance prohibitions. No chance to properly set-up any shots. |
