From November 2003 through July 2004, I worked on a project for SAP in Galway, the capital city of Ireland's west coast. A small (60K residents) medieval city, Galway was founded by 14 merchant "tribes" (clans) whose names now grace the city's many roundabouts. At the edge of the Connemara Gaeltacht region, Galwegians take their Irish seriously. In that spirit, fáilte!
