Crescent moon Tracy Arm is a glacial fjord south of Juneau. Accessible via a two-hour catboat ride, this excursion is worth the time and expense to view glacial "ice bergs" rendered from calving (splitting or falling off) from Sawyer Glacier.
Crescent moon Pretty light and pure water results in great reflections.
View from above at dawn Exposure to light causes the blue glacial ice to turn clear.
High cloud
Clouds Close-up of the Sawyer southern glacier. I saw it calving but the piece wasn't large enough to make it exciting for still shots (unless I post them as a series ...).
